1. Who we are
Mulckhuyse Consulting (registration number 2026/643217/07) is a South African business systems and technology consultancy based in Cape Town. In this policy, “MC”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mulckhuyse Consulting.
Privacy enquiries may be sent to hello@mulckhuyseconsulting.co.za.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, use our booking link, or engage with us about a potential or current project.
3. Information we may collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, company, email address and telephone number.
- Booking information, including your selected meeting time, time zone, responses to booking questions and meeting details.
- Business and project information you choose to provide in an enquiry, meeting or correspondence.
- Technical and aggregated website information, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referral source.
- Records of our communications and information reasonably required to manage a client or supplier relationship.
4. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to enquiries and arrange meetings;
- assess, propose, deliver and support consulting or technology services;
- manage client, supplier and project relationships;
- secure, operate and improve our website and systems;
- maintain appropriate business, contractual and financial records; and
- comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Service providers
We use selected service providers to operate our business. These may include Google Workspace for email, calendar and online meetings; Cal.com for appointment scheduling; Vercel for website hosting and aggregated web analytics; and professional advisers or technical service providers where reasonably required.
When you choose to book a meeting, the Cal.com booking experience is loaded and information you submit is also handled under Cal.com’s privacy terms. Third-party services may process information in countries outside South Africa, subject to their contractual, technical and legal safeguards.
6. Analytics and cookies
At launch, MC does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising pixels. We intend to use privacy-focused, aggregated Vercel Web Analytics to understand website traffic and performance. The Cal.com booking service loads when you choose to schedule a meeting and may use essential browser storage or cookies required to provide its service.
If we later introduce optional analytics, advertising or session-recording technologies that require consent, we will update this policy and introduce appropriate controls where required.
7. Information security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No internet-based system can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage our relationship with you, to maintain required records, or to meet legal, contractual and legitimate business requirements. Information that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or securely archived as appropriate.
9. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, request access to or correction of that information, object to certain processing, or request deletion where appropriate. Contact us at hello@mulckhuyseconsulting.co.za.
You may also raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator through its official website at inforegulator.org.za.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, services, service providers or legal obligations change. The revised date shown at the top of this page will indicate when the latest version took effect.
